About PAL

PAL began in 1989 with a Lab for writers for the stage. Since then we have tested and proved our cross-disciplinary experimental process for the development of talent, new work and policy-making in the arts, in media and technology, in education and in science.

20 years, nearly 140 Labs and over 4000 participants later, PAL continues to be a pioneering agent of new work as we explore new areas and make new partnerships.

PAL is company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. We are an Arts Council England Regularly Funded Organisation.
