PAL Labs

PAL Labs are tailor-made. Each one is designed around the needs of its particular group of participants. Every Lab begins with a conversation with each participant. However, they share fundamental characteristics.

All PAL Labs are immersive, practical and focused on making. They are not top-down courses. They are not about ‘training’. The people taking part do so on a peer-to-peer footing — all are considered experts in their discipline and are expected to share their knowledge, experience, enthusiasm and vision with generosity. PAL Lab participants do not settle for the tried-and-tested. They challenge what they know and how they work. They take risks.

At present our work falls into three broad strands, Labs for Artists, Labs in Learning and Screen-based Labs.
