This 3-day residential colloquium drew together a diverse collection of people interested in and concerned about food – from production to marketing to preparation and, of course, consumption.
Artists, educationalists, funders, chefs, school children, farmers, interactive games designers explored ways to stimulate young people to explore the issues around food and nutrition. The colloquium led to a Lab for Food Technology teachers, held in 2005 and to an annual week of activities focused on food production for schools at Commonwork, Bore Place.
