PAL's second commissioned Lab from Slingshot was part of a Skillset-funded scheme, ‘Training and Development into Greenlight’, linking development with production.
Slingshot is an ultra low budget digital production and distribution company committed to making a slate of ten films over three years. A key aim of the company is to reduce the development cycle to twelve month periods by turning the greenlight on at the beginning of the process.
The romantic comedy French Film, developed at the Lab, was completed and launched in spring 2009.
