The two-day seminar offered to heads of training initiatives for screenwriters and producers from across Europe the opportunity to look at new possibilities, tools and strategies for innovative development of marketable stories. The opening speaker was Jonathan Olsberg, one of Europe’s leading screen industry strategy consultants. Three case studies of project-based training/development/production initiatives were presented to stimulate the overall debate. The meeting was an opportunity to share practice and to talk about the evolution of the audiovisual training landscape and the positioning of independent professional training providers in the near future.

TEST is a forum for sharing practice between training programmes within the European audiovisual industry. Following successful events in Valencia in 2004 and in Rome in 2005, PAL organised the TEST Seminar 2006, held in London.
